Meet Dr. Antoinette Biegaj
DC
My name is Dr. Antoinette Biegaj. I am a proud daughter of a wonderful mom and Navy serviceman. The journey that brought me to chiropractic began when I was 4 years old. In a physical examination, the medical doctor detected that I had crooked hips and therefore I was placed in hip braces, leg braces and special shoes from the age of 4 to age 6.
When nothing had changed in those two years, my parents were advised that I would probably be cripled. Fast forward two more years and at the age of 8, in 3rd grade, there was a Chiropractor performing scoliosis screenings in my school and every student was tested. I tested positive for scoliosis. When my parents received the literature they brought me to a chiropractor and within a few visits, my scoliosis began to be corrected because I was so young AND my hips became balanced -you see I did not have crooked hips, I had a crooked spine.
This changed my life forever and that is why at the age of 8, I knew I was going to be a chiropractor.
Becoming a Natural Healer
I completed my undergraduate education at The Medical University of South Carolina and continued the pursuit of my degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
I graduated in 1997 from Life Chiropractic University with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Degree. In my years of Chiropractic practice, I have continued learning and studying and received extensive training in neurologically focused chiropractic care, pediatrics, and pregnancy.
I have witnessed many lives changed through Chiropractic and understand that Chiropractic is so much more than the treatment of any neck or low back pain – it is about the brain and nervous system functioning at 100% and when this happens, expect miracles.
